Pringle Challenge
Overview:
In the pringle project we had to create a package that would ship a single pringle chip. We sent this package from San Diego, CA to Chico, CA and back a total of 1200 miles. With the hope of it coming back intact without any damage.
My groups package was considerably very safe and my group members and I were confident that the pringle chip would return intact. We got a small jewlery box that was covered in cotton ball. We then box into a medium packaging box that had cotton balls in the inside. That medium box was placed inside another box that was slightly bigger inside that bow was packaging peanuts and cotton balls. Below is a picture of what it looked like.

A big componet of the grading score was how much it way. So our goal was for it to be very light. We were on the mass, volume, and condition our chip came back. To figure out our score we would multiply Mass and volume the answer to that would be divide by the condition grade (1-10). And that would be mulltiplyed by 100.
Above is a picture of our pringle when it came back.
Reflection:
If I were to do this project again, something I would do diffrently would be the size of the package. Maybe I would use the two small ones. I would make these changes because the mass and volume effected our overall grade.
